Abstract (2. Language): 
This study is conducted in order to uncover the situation of foreign students. A face-to-face survey is implented with foreign students. The effect of learning Turkish language in Turkey or on different country, on student achievement is researched. Also the effect of having friends who is studying Turkey, on student achivement is researched. According to the results, having friends whi is studying Turkey effects the student achivement significantly.

Çalışmada GAP bölgesinde öğrenim gören yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin durumu ortaya çıkarılmak amaçlanmıştır. Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerle birebir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin başarılarına Türkçeyi Türkiye’de veya kendi ülkelerinde öğrenmenin ve Türkiye’de başka öğrenim gören tanıdıklarının olup olmamasının etki edip etmediği araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Türkiye’de öğrenim gören tanıdıklarının olması öğrencilerin başarısına etki etmektedir.
