Although both private and state theatres in our country have founded their own children theatre units, we can‟t say they did something for the youth ones As the absence of this area in our theatres, the playwrights have been indifferent ( have not been interested in this area as well) in this special area. At this point, The studies that will be held by some high schools (secondary schools) can support and help both for the socialization of young people and their interest and love for theatre. A tutor who would like to perform a play with their students may attend lot of problems at the school he or she works for. On top of all these problems, we could mention finding an appropriate text for young people to perform. In this study, we will examine this problem of the tutors and try to suggest some alternatives for the solutions.

Ülkemizde Şehir ve Devlet tiyatroları kurumlarının her ikisi de kendi çocuk tiyatrosu birimlerini kurmuş olsalar da, gençler için gençlik tiyatrosu adına bir şey yaptıklarını söyleyemeyiz. Tiyatrolarımızdaki bu boşluk yüzünden de oyun yazarları bu alana pek ilgi duymamaktadırlar. Bu noktada, lise ve dengi okullarda düzenlenecek çalışmalar gençlerin sosyalleşmesinde ve tiyatro sevgisi geliştirmelerinde fayda sağlayacaktır. Çalıştığı okulda gençlerle oyun sahnelemek isteyen bir lise öğretmeni zorluklarla karşılaşmaktadır ve en önemli zorluk gençlere uygun oyun metinlerinin bulunmasında ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada öğretmenlerin karşılaştıkları sorunları ve bu sorunlarla baş etme yollarını inceleyeceğiz.
