Abstract (2. Language):
Various methods have been widely used in the music education both in preschool and
the first grade of primary school. One of these methods is the rhythm training,which
constitutes the core of muscular training. Children who have sound and sustainable
rhythm training can easily grasp the other parts of the music, thus the learning process
of music can be accelerated. Rhythm training is one of the most significant objectives of
the music education. In this research an experimental study on perception of different
rhythm patterns was carried out with a group of students at the age of six attending
Gazi Preschool of Gazi University Foundation and meaningful results have been
obtained.

Anaokulu ve ilköğretimin birinci sınıfındaki müzik eğitiminde kullanılan çeşitli
yöntemler arasında yer alan ritim eğitimi, kassal öğrenmenin çekirdeğini
oluşturmaktadır. Zira, sağlam bir ritim eğitimi alan çocuklar müziğin diğer temel
öğelerini daha kolay kavramakta ve müziği öğrenme süreçleri hızlanmaktadır. Ritim
eğitimi müzik eğitiminin önemli amaçlarından birisidir. Bu araştırmada, Gazi
Üniversitesi VakfıGazi Anaokulu altıyaşgrubu öğrencilerine farklıritim kalıplarının
algılanmasına ilişkin deneysel bir çalışma uygulanmışve anlamlısonuçlara ulaşıldığı
görülmüştür.
