In his “regional” novel, Passage of the poet, in a stable setting but changing times
Ramuz tells us about the habitants of the Vaud region and their struggle with nature.
The adventure starts in march and turns into a feast at vintage. Through the main
character Besson’s point of view, Ramuz displays the union of Switzerland with its four
languages and four regions. The honor of labor, love of land, taming nature altogether
become the common goal.

Ramuz, Passage du poèteadlı“bölgesel” romanında, Vaud yöresi insanının durağan
bir uzamda, ancak sürekli değişen zaman içinde doğayla savaşımınıanlatır. Mart
ayında başlayan serüven bağbozumuyla birlikte gerçek bir şölene dönüşür. Ramuz,
romanın başkişisi Besson’un ağzından dört dilli, dört bölgeli İsviçre ülkesinin birliğini
sergiler. Emeğin onuru, toprak sevgisi, hep birlikte doğayıehlileştirme ortak bir ülkü
olur.
