Sürrenal Kitlelerin Boyutlarının Değerlendirilmesinde ve Cerrahi Tedavisinde Bilgisayarlı Tomografinin Güvenilirliği

Reliability of Computerized Tomography in the evaluation of dimensions and treatment of adrenal masses

Abstract (2. Language):
Adrenal masses may appear with different clinical, laboratory and radiologic findings. Approach to these masses deserves usage of different algoritms due to their properties. In this study we tried to compare diagnostic properties of masses with different diameters and preoperative findings and histopathologic parameters. After the evaluation we noticed that abdominal computerized tomography is a reliable method for evaluating the diameter, relation with the neighboring organs and invasion depth of adrenal masses. As the tumor gets bigger the possibility of malignancy and hormonal activity rises.
