Kadın üst genital yollan infeksiyon lan, cerrahi infeksiyonlar, intraabdominal infeksiyonlar ve daha pekçok in feksiyonlar genellikle polimikrobikiır. Bu infeksiyonlarda Gram pozitif ve negatif, aerob ve anaerob bakteriler izole edilmektedir, dram negatif mikroorganizmaların büyük çoğunluğunu Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, linterobacter ve I'seıtdomonas türleri oluşturur. Gram pozitif mikroorganizmalar arasında genellikle, stajilokoklar izole edilir. İnönü l 'niversitesi Tıp f akültesi Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi, Mikrobiyoloji ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji laboratuvarında. 1 Ocak 30 Aralık 1994 tarihleri arasında, izole edilen 438 mikroorganizmaya imipenem sılastatin (IMP S)'in antimikrobial etkinliği incelendi. 2" 5 Gram negatif hacterilerin %9~.5 ve 163 Gram pozitif bakteri/erin (Staphylococcus aureus), %9S. 1 oranında IMP S e duyarlı olduğu bulundu. 14 Pseudomonas aeruginosa ızolatından %92.H'i bu antimikrobiğe duyarlı idi. Bu çalışmada. IMP S'in Pseudomonas aeruginosa suşlarına amikacin, netilmicin ve tobramycin gibi aminoglikozidlerden ve cephaloihıne, cefuroxime, ceftriaxone ve ceftazidime gibi sefalosporınlerden daha etkin olduğu anlaşılmıştır. /Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi Dergisi 2(1): 1"-21,1995/

Abstract (English): 

The female upper genital tract, surgical, intraabdominal and a wide variety of injections are usually po/imicrobic and involve both gram-positive and gram-negative aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. The majority of Gram-negative microorganisms are Escherichia coli, Klebsiella. Proteus, linterobacter and Pseudomonas. Among the Gram-positive microorgansims are usually Staphylococci. The antimicrobial activity of imipenem cilastatin (1PM CS) was tested for a broad spectrum of 438 organisms isolated from the Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology Laboratory of Faculty of Medicine. İnönü University. Turgut Özal Medical Center, between January 1 and December 30. 1994. Sinety seven point jive percent of 2"5 Gram negative aerobes. 98.1% of 163 Gram positive cocci (Staphylococcus aureus), were found to be sensitive to IPM CS. Sinety two point eight percent of 14 Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates were sensitive to this antibiotic. This study also disclosed that this agent was much more active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa than any other tested aminoglicosides, as amikacin, netilmicin and tobramycin or cephalosporines. as cephalothine. cefuroxime. ceftriaxone and ceftazidime. /.Journal of Turgut Özal Medical Center 2(1): 1"-21.1995/
