Bu çalışmada, tedarik zinciri yönetiminde karar teorisi destekli uzman sistem tasarımı ve tedarikçi seçim problemine uygulanması ele alınmıştır. Uzman sistemlerin, geleneksel yaklaşımlardan farklı olarak, karar ağacı kullanılarak modellenmesi durumunda sağlayacağı yararların tartışıldığı bu araştırmada, gerçek hayatta karşılaşılan çeşitli karar problemlerinin çözümünde kullanılan uzman sistemlerin, diğer yöntemlere nazaran gerçekçi sonuçlar vermelerini sağlayan bilgi tabanlı sistemler olmalarının getirileri tartışılmıştır.
In this study, design of decision theory supported expert systems in supply chain management and its application to supplier selection problem has been considered. The advantages of modeling expert systems using decision tree have been emphasized in this research and the benefits of expert systems as the knowledge-based systems having much realistic results rather than the other approaches used in the solution of decision problems in real life have been discussed.
