Avrupa Birliginin Egitimde Kaliteyi Belirleyici Alan ve Göstergeleri Açısından Türk Egitim Sisteminin Durumu

Education, which has an important role in European Union’s expanding and
assuring its continuity, is a key factor for the success of the politics that the Union tries to
realize. Although European Union frees each member country in applying the proper
models for their own socio-economic structure, it has determined indicators that have to
take place within national systems. The main approach of the Union is in the direction of
putting each member country’s their own education systems into an order not
contradicting the general principles and indicators determined. Turkey is giving great
emphasis on various arrangement studies in education area with the name of European
Union member country. In this study, the condition of Turkey is tried to be analysed from
the aspect of indicators European Union has determined related to education.
