Makalenin İngilizce İsmi:
Regional Sutainable Development In Theory And Practice
Makale İçerik Bilgileri
Makale Dili:
Türkçe
Anahtar Kelimeler:
Doğal Sermaye
Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Modelleri
Bölgesel Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma
Geleneksel Ekonomik Yaklaşımlar
Türkçe Özet:

Sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya yönelik geleneksel yaklaşımlar kavramsal bir çerçeve
sunmakta, bölgesel sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya yönelik spesifik bir açıklama
getirememektedir.

Traditional approaches related with sustainable devlopment present a conceptual
framework and can not explain the concept of regional sustainable development
spesifically. Therefore, the models of regional sustainable development has been developed
since the second part of 1990’s. In this sudy initially, the traditional approaches of
sustainable development is examined. Secondly, the models of regional sustainable
development developed by Smutko (1996), Collados and Duane (1999), and Medhurst
(2003) are evaluated. These models focus on the effects of natural capital on quality of life,
standarts of life and welfare of the region. Finally, this study deals with several sample
applications both from European Union and national programmes and projects on regional
sustainable development.
